Flawed attempt to turn the success of Local Hero into a Caribbean Whisky Galore!, in which most of the jokes rest on pot-smoking. The talents of a not inconsiderable cast are squandered by an aimless and worn out script, not to mention exotic locations that morph into what looks uncannily like the south of England.
