Up! (1976)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 80m
Director: Russ Meyer
Cast: Edward Schaaf, Robert McLane, Elaine Collins, Candy Samples

Synopsis:

Somewhere in the northwest states a Hitler-loving pervert is killed with a piranha fish and suspicion ranges from a drive-by cafe owner through his comely wife to a dusky prostitute whom we never see again. Then into town lollops a deadly sex machine on two legs who throws the community into turmoil and unmasks the culprit.

Review:

Francesca Kitten Natividad acts as chorus to this incoherent farrago of classic Meyer characters (the nympho, the cuckold, the lecherous policeman, the redneck bonehead) all tarted up with modern permissive trimmings (a disquieting preoccupation with rape, prosthetic penis shots and a dig at The Texas Chainsaw Massacre which outdoes it in gore). Not one of the meister's happier outings.
