Synopsis:
Ollie brings his friend Stan home for dinner to an initially far from welcoming reception, and when Mrs Hardy decamps following a marital spat Mrs Kennedy appears from next door, complicating matters further.

Early sound short, with particularly squeaky dialogue in which only Edgar Kennedy's stentorian tones stand out audibly. Still, it is agreeably brisk, with the bickering spouse, attractive other woman and violently jealous husband motifs effectively deployed. Thelma Todd strips resplendently to some particularly fine lingerie when her dress catches fire!
