Tin Men (1987)
Country: US
Technical: col 112m
Director: Barry Levinson
Cast: Richard Dreyfuss, Danny DeVito, Barbara Hershey
Synopsis:
Aluminum siding salemen in 1963 Baltimore realize their heyday is over, amid more mundane disagreements.
Review:
The second part of Levinson's Baltimore trilogy (after Diner, with Avalon being the last), this is really unlike any other film, a running battle between two rivals and a plot so unlikely you never think he will bring it off; but he does. Superior entertainment which, like the best American films, also says something honest and poetic about America.
