The Russia House (1990)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 123m
Director: Fred Schepisi
Cast: Sean Connery, Michelle Pfeiffer, Roy Scheider

Synopsis:

A publisher is sent a manuscript by a Soviet scientist during Glasnost, but the secret service intercepts it and wants to use him as a spy.

Review:

Much like the other spy films except that this one's filmed in Russia, very capably put together with Connery and Fox acting well, even if Ken Russell embarrasses everyone with his one scene. It has a relatively upbeat ending, and thus fades quickly from the memory.
