Country: SV
Technical: bw 72m TV
Director: Ingmar Bergman
Cast: Ingrid Thulin, Gunnar Björnstrand, Ingmar Bergman, Anders Ek

Synopsis:

A judge interviews and cross-examines a trio of actors about a scandalous performance, but they turn the tables on their interrogator when they are permitted to perform the banned item for him alone.

Review:

Made for Swedish television in 1968, but also shown in cinemas abroad, this is a spare piece of drama in the style of 'Marionettes', but perhaps there is too much of the persecuted artist facet of Bergman's persona at play here (he even plays a cameo in a confessional scene). The nudity shows how much Sweden's televisual censorship was relaxed in comparison with the UK's back then.
