Country: FR/BEL
Technical: col/2.35:1 95m
Director: Constance Meyer
Cast: Gérard Depardieu, Déborah Lukumuena, Steve Tientcheu

Synopsis:

A disenchanted film star is not the most amenable of charges for his professional minders. When a temporary replacement, a female wrestler, enters his life, he begins to appreciate what he does for a living.

Review:

As with Intouchables, we have a classic 'chalk and cheese' set-up, with Depardieu irresistibly playing a version of himself. As a gentle 'comédie de caractère' it ticks all the boxes, with the young actress holding her own in every sense, but it does not attempt to be more than that. The final repeated line, 'Comme un enfant', simply reminds us that we are all emotional children.
