Road Games (1981)
Country: AUS
Technical: col 110m
Director: Richard Franklin
Cast: Stacy Keach, Jamie Lee Curtis
Synopsis:
An eccentric truck driver and a hitch-hiking runaway heiress track down a serial murderer in a dark green van.
Review:
An impressive producer-director debut from Franklin, who went on to make Psycho II, this contains several Hitchcockian homages, notably a hefty case of the Rear Windows, but is so superficially different from anything else that it seemed likely to become a cult classic of itself. It didn't.
