An actress touring her masked, one-woman show around the towns of the Pas de Calais meets a single man who stores and carries the giant guignols for the local festival. Slight but touching drama about two souls making contact in spite of the pressures of home life and a transient existence. Testimony to the warmth of the region's inhabitants, whatever their climate, it is also doubtful proof of their openness to unconventional forms of theatre!
