Paranoiac (1963)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: bw/scope 80m
Director: Freddie Francis
Cast: Oliver Reed, Janette Scott, Alexander Davion

Synopsis:

A dysfunctional household is thrown into even greater disarray when the heir to the estate suddenly returns from the grave to claim what is rightly his.

Review:

Once again, as in the Boileau/Narcejac original that initiated this particular brand of psychological thriller, the apparent ghost is anything but, and we enjoy watching wicked Oliver Reed squirm, while half expecting further wickedness to reveal itself. Fanatic (Die! Die! My Darling!) followed in 1965, and Crescendo still later.
