Universal seemed to be blending the Western with one of its Hudson-Sirk melodramas in this yawnworthy potboiler. Strictly for completist fans, though it does have Natalie Wood as the orphan girl. Adams, who gets the Alexis Colby role here, made a number of films with Hudson, so this is in some sense a broadening of their repertoire.
