Office Killer (1997)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 82m
Director: Cindy Sherman
Cast: Carol Kane, Molly Ringwald, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Barbara Sukowa

Synopsis:

In a magazine publishing office a number of staff are laid off or required to work at home by the ruthless new female boss. One such victim, a dowdy secretary who has been with the firm for years, accidentally brings about the death of one her antagonists and, warming to her theme, sets about eliminating various members of the office and spiriting the bodies away to her basement.

Review:

A film which might well have inspired Ricky Gervais's mockumentary series, this gutsy low-budget effort descends into schlock horror at times and limits the audience's knowledge of the murderess's past until it becomes necessary to explain her irrational behaviour. No forgotten masterpiece, this, but it passes the time.
