Synopsis:
Since the Middle Ages Dark and Light 'Others' have observed a truce in their eternal struggle pending the coming of a prophesied Great Other. Now, in Moscow, an Other found guilty of attempting to abort his unborn child through necromancy finds himself a guardian for the Night Watch, an alliance of Others who protect and feed off the Light. One night, the fight to protect a young boy from a vampiric Dark Other has implications that can never have been anticipated.
Review:
If you are still reading then you are probably immune to this kind of claptrap, and this flashy, hectically assembled thriller has influences from the Lord of the Rings films to the Matrix and Blade. It's confusing, comic book stuff that will no doubt exhaust the patience of non-fans but has enough bravura visuals to satisfy the curious as to its quality and originality.
