Negatives (1968)
Country: GB
Technical: col 98m
Director: Peter Medak
Cast: Glenda Jackson, Peter McEnery, Diane Cilento
Synopsis:
A couple living over a second-hand furniture shop enhance their sex life by roleplaying Dr Crippen and his wife, but when an intrigued and comely German photographer enters their lives she prompts a change in persona that destabilizes the relationship.
Review:
Rather silly melodrama, but impressively done, with kaleidoscopic editing and good airborne sequences. McEnery sustains a weak central character well enough, but Diane Cilento, apparently channelling Ursula Andress in The Blue Max, is a feast for the eyes.
