Bloodsucking (and letting) chop-socky, brisker than most Hammer productions, though shortened from an original 110-minute version. Not without interest for Hammer completists and genre hybrid fans: plenty of gore, Cushing as sober and capable as ever, and Julie Ege resplendent in a most un-turn-of-the-century vest top!
