Review:
Blood Simple meets Bound, one might say of this off-kilter love story cum drug-fuelled thriller, but that would be reductive. Stewart seems to be forever cleaning up other people's shit, and O'Brian slowly turns into the Incredible Hulk, while Harris gets to play the lank-haired psychopath he was always meant to be, but what it all means is anybody's guess, as it leaves us literally guessing as the girls end up only one step ahead of the FBI. What it does have is lashings of style and some arresting, one might say jaw-dropping, moments.
