Country: KOR
Technical: col 111m
Director: Jang Sun-Woo
Cast: Lee Sang-Hyun, Kim Tae-Yeon

Synopsis:

The story of an older fine arts dealer and a student who indulges his sado-masochistic gameplaying before sex is told for us apparently by the director.

Review:

A study in amour fou which, like any other from Betty Blue to Empire of the Senses, follows the usual trajectory towards débâcle while risking alienating viewer sympathies. This one just happens to be grungier than most; indeed it will alienate just about everyone who might not stay for the quietly poignant close. The actors both deserve medals for endurance; it is the least one can do to stay the course.
