Last Man Standing (1996)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 101m
Director: Walter Hill
Cast: Bruce Willis, Christopher Walken, Alexandra Powers

Synopsis:

In the 1920s or 30s a stranger arrives in a town ruled over by two competing criminal gangs, and sets about insinuating himself into their confidences while secretly playing one off against the other.

Review:

Yes, well we've all been here before, of course (Yojimbo via A Fistful of Dollars), and this director and star are not the ones to imbue it with anything like freshness. Even Walken seems to be sleepwalking through this portrait of villainy. The problem is, in this setting they all come over as irredeemably bad as each other. A bore.
