Landslide (1937)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: bw 67m
Director: Donovan Pedelty
Cast: Dinah Sheridan, Jimmy Hanley, Jimmy Mageean

Synopsis:

A theatrical troupe on its uppers in the Welsh hills falls victim to a murderer in its midst, and as the local police sergeant prepares to interrogate them they are sealed in the building by a landslide.

Review:

Who said an actor's life was easy? Unfortunately some of the screen acting in this amateurish thriller is about on the level with that of a school play, and the most convincing action is provided by the miniature landslide (though given the torrential rain they have been enduring it is surprisingly lacking in moisture). This was Sheridan's first film, and she shares top billing - not bad for 17.
