The Killer Elite (1975)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 120m
Director: Sam Peckinpah
Cast: James Caan, Robert Duvall, Arthur Hill, Gig Young

Synopsis:

A security worker in the pay of the C.I.A. is shot and crippled by his friend and comes back for revenge.

Review:

Peckinpah loved the emasculating betrayal motif so much, he put it in his films even when it didn't make much sense, as in this one. The usual ingredients are there (surveillance, explosive mayhem, the suited establishment types), and would surface again in The Osterman Weekend, but somehow they just don't gel.
