Knives Out (2019)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 130m
Director: Rian Johnson
Cast: Daniel Craig, Ana de Armas, Christopher Plummer, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, Michael Shannon

Synopsis:

A successful author chooses his eighty-fifth birthday to inform his family that he is no longer supporting them, and his faithful nurse mixes up his nightly injections.

Review:

A whodunnit in the Agatha Christie tradition, except that the authorship of the crime is never really in question, this light drama cleaves closely to the character of the nurse, while offering Mr Craig something unusual to do between Bonds. Naturally, the critics had a field day deriding his accent, which actually is not too bad and only slips once or twice.
