Country: US
Technical: col 112m
Director: Victor Saville
Cast: Errol Flynn, Dean Stockwell, Paul Lukas

Synopsis:

A white orphan at the time of the British Raj disguises himself as a Hindu but is torn between his loyalty to a Buddhist mystic and that to the Crown.

Review:

Moderately engaging adaptation of a Kipling classic, with Flynn getting just a little bit past it, and Saville too for that matter. Stockwell adds to his repertory of compelling child roles, and the Loew's production even allowed for some sequences to be filmed in India.
