The Incredibles (2004)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/2.35:1 115m
Director: Brad Bird
Cast: Voicecast: Craig T. Nelson, Samuel L. Jackson, Holly Hunter, Jason Lee

Synopsis:

A couple of former superheroes marry and raise their gifted children in suburban anonymity, but the father hankers after his past existence righting wrongs, and an embittered fan leads him on a path of self-destruction.

Review:

Reasonably smart Pixar comedy, ostensibly satirising superheroes but aligning itself more with James Bond in terms of iconography and music, both of which draw heavily on You Only Live Twice, perhaps because it is old enough for no one to remember it. However, the animation is well below the Toy Story standard, being crude and multiplane like a video game. It is also far too prolonged.
