…in favour of the United States, naturally. (Indeed, the contradictions inherent in the film's premise are endemic in the scenario: Stark cannot guard against this new creation falling into irresponsible hands.) Leaving aside this banality, though, this particular superhero franchise does at least have Downey and Paltrow's engaging personalities going for it, and the effects are as special as they are at times frivolous.
