Home Alone (1990)
Country: US
Technical: col 102m
Director: Chris Columbus
Cast: Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern
Synopsis:
An eight year-old kid is left behind at Christmas by accident, and must confront a pair of burglars who are counting on taking advantage of the temporary vacation.
Review:
Absurdly premised family Christmas film, which by virtue of that fact alone made shedloads of movie and spawned two sequels, though happily not with the same obnoxious kid. Really just a succession of Wily Coyote gags with plentiful rupturing of the fourth wall.
