A multi-stellar, multi-ethnic cast and a not very impressive wooden horse are two of the stiffer aspects of this version of the Iliad, in which as usual the Trojans win our sympathy, and Helen truly is in love. As in most versions it ignores the gods, which rather removes the point of it all.
