The Grey Fox (1982)
Country: CAN
Technical: col 91m
Director: Phillip Borsos
Cast: Richard Farnsworth, Jackie Burroughs
Synopsis:
A former stage robber gets out of the pen and makes a fresh start in Canada robbing trains.
Review:
Stuntman Farnsworth's transition to acting, and an uncommonly thoughtful and subtle Western, about an outlaw's declining years, with a touch of Butch and Sundance in its central conceit. Inexplicably the film struggled to get a release for a couple of years after it was made, but remains the freshest of its decade.
