Miss Seyfried does her best to inject a note of conviction, but this flashily made thriller wears its borrowed robes heavily about it, from Taken to The Silence of the Lambs and a dozen other 'in the woods' chillers. It also has a most underwhelming conclusion, whose lack of hyperbole would be welcome if it made any sense.
