Review:
Updated to the 1930s, this opportunistic version of Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan features one or two pleasing supporting performances - though not as pleasing as it would like to think - but relatively charmless, peevish leads. It does, however, pack in some classic epigrams, not all of them from the source material and one can always look at the locations (a more or less conscious emulation of Much Ado about Nothing's travel book tactics).
