Fast-paced, wise-cracking star vehicle, the sort of thing Warren Beatty might have done in the sixties but to which this star's timing is much better suited. Many of his disguises are thin affairs, but his inventiveness in any situation is well carried, if one is prepared to suspend disbelief. Fair light entertainment, like a private-eye spoof.
