Sometimes funny, often horny serial spoof/sex romp, with pretty explicit action punctuated by delightful special effects and culminating in a hilariously 'groovy' Harryhausen monster. Bad acting, yes, but inspired handling of material that the De Laurentiis production exploited to rather more mainstream ends a few years later.
