Enter the Dragon (1973)

£0.00

Country: US/HK
Technical: col/scope 99m
Director: Robert Clouse
Cast: Bruce Lee, John Saxon, Jim Kelly

Synopsis:

An American agent tasked with bringing down a Hong Kong drug baron infiltrates a martial arts tournament being held on his fortified island.

Review:

An extraordinary alliance between Warner Brothers and the homegrown HK film industry, from which many of the players and technicians were drawn, this 007-style thriller also garnered an 'X' certificate in the UK, due to Mr Trevelyan's queasiness about things such as nunchucks. It was a shot in the arm to the action thriller stateside, and drew a number of imitators (The Yakuza) and parodies (The Return of the Pink Panther).
