Synopsis:
A policewoman on a serial killer case consults an expert on the subject who is confined to her flat following an attack by one she helped put away. The new subject turns out to be systematically copying famous killers of the past.
Review:
Tense, rather exploitative thriller in the wake of Seven and The Silence of the Lambs. It incorporates new phobias such as artificial insemination and intrusion via the internet but is basically a very effective compendium of cop movie, Hitchcockian, and serial killer devices. As such it is oddly true to its theme.
