Convoy (1978)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 110m
Director: Sam Peckinpah
Cast: Kris Kristofferson, Ali MacGraw, Ernest Borgnine

Synopsis:

Truckers communicating on CB radio buck state laws and find themselves in an escalating duel between their leader 'Rubber Duck' and a vengeful sheriff.

Review:

The director gives his heroes trucks instead of horses, but otherwise this is pretty much the Wild Bunch setup with Borgnine standing in for the railroad. It resolves itself into a series of destructive stunts, partly filmed in the inevitable slow motion; not bad in spots, but not very good either.
