No doubt tagging along behind The Cotton Club (and Once upon a Time in America), this tired old period gangster comedy cashes in on its star personae in a desperate attempt to generate some laughs. Alexander comes off the best among the cast, but this is one most of us were happy to forget and go and watch Tightrope instead.
