Review:
Maybe it was because Tarzan was by now so totally 'stale buns' that this seemed tired and worn out from the off, but this has to be the worst in the series so far, with the jungle quite tellingly looking like Kew Gardens and the jokes off-colour in more ways than one (Terry Scott's Ugh the jungle boy). Perhaps the makers sensed this and hired new blood in the shape of Miss Leon, and not so new in the shape of Frankie Howerd (no relation to the Up Pompeii series in the title - more a backwards glance at the Khyber instalment).
