Country: SV
Technical: col 97m
Director: Tuva Novotny
Cast: Pernilla August, Anders Mossling, Lancelot Ncube

Synopsis:

After forty years of marriage spent in a cocoon of order and cleanliness, Britt-Marie leaves her faithless, ungrateful husband and accepts the first job she finds: youth care worker and football coach in a tight-knit community out of town.

Review:

A feelgood sentimental comedy about moving on, starting over and inspiring others to do the same. It succeeds by virtue of its understated lead performance as Britt-Marie, actually a traumatized child who never had the help she needed, though the film to its credit lets us draw our own conclusions about that.
