Country: US
Technical: col/2.39:1 102m
Director: Olivia Wilde
Cast: Kaitlyn Dever, Beanie Feldstein, Jessica Williams, Jason Sudeikis

Synopsis:

Bosom pals about to graduate from high school suddenly realise that their singleminded pursuit of academic success to the exclusion of all things frivolous has brought little material advantage. They have one night to make up for years of monastic living.

Review:

Ever so smart high school comedy that unlike Sex Education contrived characters that were vacuous without being repellent, while its two preppy heroines are quirky enough to be fun company. Along with its satirical stance on adolescent hangups and West Coast materialism it nevertheless nails the peculiar pangs of adolescence, when emotions can see-saw during the course of one evening simply by virtue of who gets talking to whom, and self-identification can so easily be a question of disassociation. Laugh out loud funny for anyone who remembers growing up, it is also very rude.
