Synopsis:

The fate of a Brooklyn tobacconist's hangs in the balance over whether the owner's wife can soften him up to the extent of taking her to Vegas. Meanwhile various locals come and go or hang out and the manager procrastinates inexplicably over his highly sexed Hispanic girlfriend.

Review:

Dramatically loose (intentionally so) companion piece to Smoke, made at the same time. Everyone concerned appears to be having a swell time but aside from the Jim Jarmusch interludes the results are only patchily entertaining to the outsider.
