Review:
Delicious comedy of manners, sensitively directed by Gilbert and with More rising to the occasion admirably. The intractable distinctions of class central to Barrie's play may seem antiquated now, but are affectingly handled without sacrificing lightness of touch. Regrettable that more money was not spent on the shots involving the sea vessels, and that the locations (actually Bermuda) were not less artfully sprinkled with palm saplings!
