Review:

Staggeringly long, but not a minute drags in this epic conclusion to the Avengers saga (for now). Humour, pathos, and mind-boggling physics jockey for position in a screenplay that encompasses an enormous cast of characters, as well as requiring not inconsiderable prior knowledge of the franchise. The players all respond gamely to the challenge with performances that are at times serious, at others drily amusing; music and technical credits are consistent with the high standards we have come to take for granted. If anything, the series shows us that it is possible to address grand themes and make us cry within the context of a comic strip.
