£0.00

Country: US
Technical: bw 98m
Director: Victor Heerman
Cast: Groucho, Chico, Harpo, Zeppo, Margaret Dumont

Synopsis:

The brothers find themselves invited to a society do at the domain of Mrs Rittenhouse, in honour of the return from Africa of Captain Spaulding, the famous explorer, and the unveiling of a newly acquired work of art. But the domestic staff are not above being suborned, and we know how corruptible Chico and Harpo are...

Review:

Early Marx Brothers talkie, with Groucho's lines and Harpo's lecherousness at their least restrained. The sound recording is borderline audible at times, and there are one or two clumsy cut-ins, but on the whole it isn't bad technically. The qualty of the writing, however, is not of the best.
