Alien 3 (1992)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 115m
Director: David Fincher
Cast: Sigourney Weaver, Charles S. Dutton, Charles Dance, Paul McGann, Brian Glover

Synopsis:

Ripley makes it from the planet of Aliens but must put down on a prison planet due to instrument failure. The unusual facility has prisoners more or less looking after themselves and she finds the welcome almost as hostile as the creatures she has inadvertently brought with her.

Review:

A compromised film, rejected by its director and interfered with by Fox, it exists in various versions and lengths. As released it harks back to the first film with its sitting duck (more British than ever) cast having to defend themselves without much in the way of weapon technology; it also has shaven headed Ripley effectively being written out of any more sequels. Though there's always a way.
