The Russians Are Coming... meets It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. As if trying to prove that he also has a sense of humour, Spielberg piles fistfights on top of wanton destruction with James Belushi piloting a maverick fighter plane overhead. The strident pace can be diverting or wearing according to mood; either way an expensive lapse of taste.
