Jurassic Park (1993)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 126m
Director: Steven Spielberg
Cast: Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough

Synopsis:

Scientists on a Caribbean island find a way of creating dinosaurs from DNA preserved in amber, and turn their discovery into a theme park. But the laws of evolution defy predictability.

Review:

The first of a series of films that pulled the same trick every time, though this one at least showcased cutting edge CGI technology that in no time at all the BBC had adopted for its far more interesting and exciting Walking with Dinosaurs series. The star turns are enjoyable (Peck, Goldblum), but on the whole this is a disappointment alongside the Crichton novel that spawned (or cloned) it.
